republicans have selective hearing, so they won't digest what that means, and they don't read either. I hope you are right and people start waking up, but if this tax thing is any indication that the people are just numb and don't react, then I don't hold much hope for them understanding the implications of this issue.
In two years, when the decisions of this administration start hitting on people's wallets, and they find that insurance as Obama left it was good, no matter what shortcomings it had which were actually the product of republican opposition, then they will start blaming the democrats.
The democrats need to start fighting harder, they need to be out there exposing republican corruption, and they need to do it loud and clear...decency is good, but there comes a time when you have to fight hard and be flexible on how you approach the task to make sure you leave your opponent exposed in a way that is clear for all to understand. No big words in the articles they write, no big words when answering questions on TV, they need to start talking to regular people.
What good is it to have a command of the language, to have an extensive vocabulary if what you write and say can only be understood by a few who have the same culture and knowledge as you do but leaves those who do not understand confused? These people will never attempt to read or listen to what you have to say if they cannot understand you. Speak and write so that everyone can understand, colorful words are nice when you write a book, your audience will understand, but not when you want to speak to the masses.
