58. Raising the retirement age is idiotic

As it is, the only way to remain fully employed to retirement age is to be working in a job that you've had for 10 to 15 years. Get laid off after age 50? Good luck finding employment that pays anything close to what you were getting. Most people now take Social Security at 62, not because they want to, but because they HAVE TO.
