because they are doing the bidding of the kochs and the kochs want SS, Medicare, and Medicaid DESTROYED. They--billionaires with inherited wealth--want everyone else to be "free" and "self sufficient." They think of earned benefits as evil big gubmint.

They have staged a coup over the last 30 years--culminating in the 2016 "election"--and are now running the country. Took over the USA without firing a shot.
