College years. Sharing a house with 3 other students.
We go prepped for this much anticipated film debut, at one of Seattle's fine old theaters.
We all smoked a bowl, made pot brownies, everyone very enthused.
30 minute wait in long line. My roommate, the chief stoner and future doctor, got the munchies in line, so ate his brownie.

finally in the movie and that marvelous opening sequence on a 40 foot screen came on, and EVERYONE in the movie went
"WOWWWWWWW". I look around and realized, as others did, we were all happily baked and sharing the same state of mind.

Except for the future doctor, who fell asleep just as the movie started.

Some movies just belong in a theater.
