25. Disgusting and despicable. Something's terribly systemically wrong at Penn State

when shit like this is allowed to go on at the highest levels.

This goes way, way beyond the football program and into fundraising - the very core of the administration of the university.

It sickens me that people are saying - well it was "only" 4 bad-apple people in the football program, or it was "only" those 4 people AND Sandusky's foundation, or it was "only" those 4, the campus police, the foundation officers, and Tom Corbett... Now its all of the above AND major donors (and how many other witnesses who have kept silent all these years like the one in this story?)

When do you say enough's enough and shut the place down? Something is terribly wrong in the administration of that place on many, many levels. Its permeated the culture and the campus to a frightening degree - so much so that nobody came forward for a decade or more.
