it. Focusing on metrics and big data works only so well on certain types of lines. He instituted a culture of running the railroad for shareholders, not clients, customers or employees. He's the very example of someone leading the charge to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, and leaving nothing but bloody feathers for those who run, schedule and manage the trains.
