As a survivor of sexual abuse I can say that what Al Franken is accused of does not come close to what I experienced. Have you read the information about the women who have done the accusing? 4 of the eight accusers remain anonymous and supposedly all of these supposed incidents happened in very public places, some during photo ops. The remaining 4 are 1) Leeann Tweeden and involved USO hi jinx of which she was also a perpetrator, 2) Lindsey Menz was posing for a photo op with her husband present, 3)Stephanie Kemplen - also posing for a USO photo with others present, and 4)Tina Dupuy - a photo op at an inaugural ball with hundreds of people present. Meanwhile 36 female SNL co-workers wrote a letter of support for Franken. And finally Franken was not give the opportunity to have due process via the senate ethics committee nor has one of the eight women filed a law suit against him. As a Minnesota voter I have had my vote taken away from me by a group of DEMOCRATIC senators and I resent that!
