TROY — Police on Thursday released the names of the victims in a quadruple homicide on Second Avenue.

Shanta Myers, 36, her children Shanise Myers, 5, andJeremiah “JJ” Myers, 11, and Shanta Myer’s partner Brandi Mells, 22, were found dead Tuesday in their basement apartment at 158 Second Ave. in Troy. Police still aren’t saying how the victims died, nor any details on possible suspects.
Troy Chief John Tedesco has assured the public there is no imminent danger as it appears the victims were targeted.
