Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat

I thought how, as the day had come,
The posts in all the blogosphere
Had rolled along the unbroken song

And in despair I bowed my head:
"They'll never get that guy," I said,
"For hate is strong and mocks the song
