and she has 5 college degrees and is in her 40th year of teaching. So far, she has no major problems.

We were very excited to see Sotomayor appointed to the SC. We have been through the same calls to paramedics a number of times.

Other than a complete cure, modern meters and controls are usually good for a normal life - and my wife's key was the fact that as a teacher she had medical insurance while teaching in 3 states. Her brother and father did NOT have employer insurance or were uninsurable, and both died young (38, 49).

Universal insurance and medical care adds immeasurable value to this world. If you haven't lived it, you may not realize the difference it makes.
