(71,552 posts)47. My son is union for an auto company he make about $30.00 and hour. And it is still going up. He is
under 25. The cheap shitty foreign plants who make parts for the Japanese and Korean cars make 10-12 an hour ...no safety checks either...a young woman was crushed to death last year at one of those plants. And if they were not being beaten to death by dumping American companies could pay more.

No. White/Electrolux has factories in Ohio. My Whirlpool refrigerator was from Arkansas.

They still create jobs here. My husband's plant has 1200 people, and they are union jobs.
