31. So true that, He failed to protect his country in a time of war

And now he's passing judgement on how someone should behave in a shooting situation? If he knew so much about dangerous situations like that, why did he run away from the military when his country needed him? Trump's just pissed because it blows his "good guy with a gun" theory out of the water.

I've had weapons/police training in the Navy and to tell you honestly, I would have gathered some amount of intel before I went into face a guy with an AR-15 with nothing but a handgun and no body armor or vest. Now whether I would have spent 6 minutes doing it or not is another question. Six minutes is a long time in a high stress situation.
