21. I have two daughters

One is a year away from graduating college, and the other is in junior high. My deepest wish for them right now is that they will someday have the means to leave this country for good. I fear for them both in this society. My son, who is gay, has definite plans to leave once he gets his undergrad degree.

I hope that when people fully realize the implications of what the GOP wants to do, they will wake up and vote accordingly in November. But I truly doubt it, and that saddens and scares me tremendously.

My family, in essence, is not welcome here anymore.
