9. Christie knew all along that Trump doesn't have the temperament it takes to equal the office.

A melt down is no less than Christie expects. If he had been selected for, oh say the vice presidency, the melt down will have cleared his path to the oval office, because he would never get there any other way. No doubt Christie is somewhat surprised at how quickly it seems to be coming about. But than again, he did the same thing to himself -you know ,the bridge. They have no provable evidence is how he summed up the trial. And of course they believe the same conclusion will happen in the outcome of the investigation . Trump saying he had no knowledge of any of it. Christie actually said ,if Trump had not entered the race, he, Christie would be president today. So he's in denial. Another thing those two may very well have in common. The thing about the George Washington Bridge, it still very much there, it ain't go'en nowhere and neither is Christie. You want to know what Trump's issues are all about-? It's simple, he just can't make it go away- slip off into forgetville, put to sleep ,on and so on. The investigation is like the bridge-it's here to stay . It haunts them both.
