I don't know if anyone's ever asked for a postponement because their lawyer needs his time to defend himself against criminal charges before, but time is no friend of Daniels. She needs to settle while the media spotlight is still warm.

Everyday in Trump World threatens to push her case further back in the newspaper. Soon only Melania will care that The Oval Office Obfuscater dinked a porn star along the way to impeachment. Campaign finance laws could be only a sideshow to what's coming.
