Not that I understand even what we've discovered to date, but I figure the short version in itself is a mind-blower of new knowledge. None of us has a choice about those huge basic factors in our makeup, as well as other biggies you mention.

As you say, understanding allows us "to at least partially be at peace with" people who naturally think somewhat differently. It also helps to generate the empathy we all desperately need to understand each other and to redevelop at least a modicum of the mutual acceptance, and even respect in those still capable of it, that increasingly sophisticated manipulations have so deliberately and malignantly destroyed.

Since "there will always be some in the mix," the mix being half and half = the electorate, we need to understand ourselves every bit as well as our joint enemies do so we can understand how to block and counter their manipulations.
