It wasn't until after 9-11 that most started even paying attention to the national anthem. Most teams weren't even on the field, and the few players and staff that were out were doing other stuff or goofing off. Fans payed even less attention. Last call for concessions and potty before kickoff. 15 yard penalty. Such bullshit.
