Talking with my tax person, starting next tax year personal deductions for waged employees is going away. So anyone that has to buy supplies to do their job that is not supplied by your employer, those deductions will no longer be allowed. Also, people that got their "huge" tax cut, they may be getting a bump in their paycheck but when they go to file next year they will be getting back less. My tax person said essentially they are loaning you some money during the year but will be taking it away from you by shrinking what you will get back when you file your return. She also said essentially if you make six figures and up you are getting the benefit of the tax cut, the rest, a big too bad.
