President Donald Trump met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the G7 Summit on Friday and despite his Twitter bluster the night before, seemed to suggest the relationship between the two leaders was just fine.

Our “relationship is probably as good, if not better than it’s ever been,” Trump said during an encounter in front of the press.

He also joked that “Justin has agreed to cut all tariffs,” a remark that drew at least a bit of laugh.

Trump’s friendly encounter with Trudeau is especially notable because just Thursday night, POTUS was lashing out at Canada, Trudeau and other G7 nations on social media.
