46. Yeah, the Canadian immigration process is no joke.

When I went through it five years ago, my wife and I had to provide a ton of information. I had to do the full background check, fingerprinting, the works. We had to provide photos, receipts for travel back and forth to see each other, gift receipts for birthdays and holidays, phone call records, chat transcripts... on and on it went. I guess they wanted to make sure we had a legit relationship.

All totally worth it, though. I love living in Canada (except for the humidity in the summer) and I'm especially happy to be here since Dolt 45 is running the show back home. It's nice living in a country that takes care of its citizens. Also nice that it's run by adults instead of a pouting man-child.
