facilities here, but that'd have probably struck the neighbors we went down had drinks with earlier, almost certainly all conservative, as partisan and broken the group. Instead, we all salved our consciences with brief but proper attention focusing on trauma to the children, on top of what many had already experienced. We deplored it in unity without ever mentioning Trump, or other. When someone deplored it as necessary, someone else turned the conversation away without anyone agreeing. (I'm taking notes, so to speak, but it's all as expected. )

As you say, we all have to reach conclusions on our own.
