32. Education as labor force training.

Emphasis on turning out worker bees who are obedient to authority and have no thoughts of their own. They'll learn how bad unions are and how the company has their best interests at heart. They'll learn their only value is in working hard and never complaining. Never expecting more. Never having choices.



Education is so much more than learning a trade or having a profession.

It makes us better people. It teaches us to think and to look beyond what we think we know to a world of infinite possibilities. It tells us to dare to dream and then gives us the tools to make those dreams come true.

Education should never be used as some blueprint for conditioning young minds to be mindless workers for the state.

Education should free your mind. Education doesn't seek to narrow the possibilities, but rather opens them up.

It teaches us we have choices and provides the necessary information to make the best choice possible.

Education helps us to grow.
