4. As a female veteran, I am beyond offended and appalled by this statement

Believe me, I never expected the amount, and different types of harassment I saw and experienced. I enlisted to serve the country, not to become a target for puerile, prurient male behavior. The toll forced me to make a decision about which is more important - serving the country or serving what was in my best interest - which was to not re-enlist.
