... he's having trouble understanding it. I get the feeling he thought his summit was a roaring success, and that he came off great. But his advisers are yelling at him that it was awful, Newt criticized him, and even Fox stammered around a bit. He's walking it back - weakly - because they are hair-on-fire insisting he do so, but I still get a sense that it's bewildering to him.
