People doing this are risking their lives more than they know. I've been there, and me and others witnessed something like this with bears, and the man was actively agitating them , and later he was by me and I didn't know it was the same guy and asked him if he saw the idiot doing that to the bears. He said nothing but was later arrested after others had turned him in. A ranger once told me a family from a foreign country actually was walking towards a group of bison when stopped by them. They were actually going to set one of their small kids on a bison's back for a photo, but was stopped before they could try to do it. These wild animals are dangerous at times , and deadly, and very , very fast. Its like their their pools of hot water, some people hop into them not realizing they're deadly .
