(37,648 posts)50. You can't dictate the WHY of business decisions. It's subjective.
Unless you can read minds, you have no idea what a CEO or board took into consideration when it decided to buy a small business. In fact, it can always be argued that what is good for the business profit is good for the shareholders AND the employees.
While I'm in favor of regulation to avoid fraud, some things can't be regulated because of their nature.
