Barring the media is like closing them to the public. The press shares what happens with a larger audience. if you do not want to reach a larger audience, I have to wonder why that is.
This is a very bad decision on the part of a Democratic candidate for Congress. I hope she reconsiders it. Every congressional district has far more voters than could attend any number of town halls she might hold. Those voters depend on press reports for information. That's the press's job.
