but i get your point. could be rivalry and a lie, could be rivalry and the truth, could be just the truth and no rivalry, but if it keeps a special needs child from being executed for a religious prohibition, that is a good. and even if the chief imam (possibly former at this point) didn't plant the stuff but he is the one who started the ball rolling against this child then if he ends up getting stoned to death his own actions were 'the proximate cause of his own death. im not endorsing anyones stoning but i am just saying the chief imam will have had sealed his own fate when he tried to seal the little girl's.

that may not be real justice, but it is at least interestingly ironic.
