30. We're fighting this fight in large part for you young'uns.

I have reached that stage of life where abortion rights, for instance, don't affect me at all personally. But I still care because I remember how it was when I was a teen and women didn't have access to safe, legal abortions. We must never return to those terrible times when too many lives were ruined or lost.

And that's just the start.

20 years ago I thought we had won the fight and things would never go back, but I was wrong. So here I am again, and instead of doing clinic defense in person I am shouting from the rooftops online and in protests on the streets when I can. We cannot drop this ball. Ever.
