The fact-checking should have been all over everywhere THREE years ago. Right when he started down this misbegotten path. But he was such an anomaly that I guess it was just fun or comical or something. So nobody was being a watchdog.

I remember when NOBODY in the media dared to call it a lie when bush/cheney was spouting nothing but, about the Iraq War. At one shamefully pathetic point, I think it was the New York Times that finally ran the ridiculously flaccid headline “Prevaricating President?” Made me want to vomit. “Prevaricating President?”??????? WTF???? You’re THAT afraid to say it flat-out - that bush/cheney LIED???? WTFFF???

I lost respect for the NYTimes right then and there. What a disgrace. They kinda snapped out of it when faced with the lie-per-minute shit spew from trump. Too hard to play coy about it at that point, and they finally started keeping count of how many of his lies rained down hour-by-hour on all of us. Finally. Better late than never, I guess.
