Yes, there would be more competition. No one will defer to her as the presumptive front-runner. Nor will she likely be the only woman, thus splitting the votes of those who--at least all else being equal--really wanted to see the first female president. Also it is unlikely that she will quickly be down to only one barely threatening competitor, not to mention one who was not a particularly good debater. And she'd be going in as the only candidate who has proven that she is beatable by Trump (in terms of the electoral college, which is what matters). And there were polls in 2017 and 2018 still showing Hillary losing swing states that she lost last time.
