His daughter is dead. Shot to death by Nicolas Cruz. He is still in a state of shock at his loss, as are most of the parents, family and loved ones of the Parkland 17.

His political affiliation does not mitigate his grief. So, perhaps all should try very hard not to criticize a grief-stricken father.
