25 or more years ago, I saw young kids playing an arcade game in the lobby of a store I shopped. It was a shooting game with human targets. I was appalled that young children were allowed to play the game, that the game was so graphic, and it was there. I wrote to the department store, but the game remained. The games have only improved in graphics, realism and so on. I think that if people play games with human targets, they will be desensitized. If they are playing games, they are not developing social connections that are vital to keep humans civil.

Minorities and alternate life-styles are not the problem. The problem is a willingness to hate easily, picking people who are obviously different.
