Within minutes of that news, Trump tweeted that he wasn't doing the meeting. With Cohen disclosing that Trump was pushing the Moscow Trump Tower project with Putin right in the middle of the Presidential campaign.

Trump freaked about the optics of meeting with Putin with that news hitting the papers.
