What about the ones who are scared witless and never say anything about it?

I used to have nightmares about school fire drills, which we had regularly. They were literal scary nightmares that woke me up. That may be because I grew up during the time after Our Lady of The Angels fire.

These kids are growing up during a time of increased school shootings. Don't tell me that some of them are not scared by all of it.

I don't know what you do to get them to take it seriously. Maybe you need to take that up with staff and administration at a meeting. Maybe someone needs to speak to the parents' volunteer organizations.
