Oh, the "get a job" thing is a biggie. It's the right-wing straw man argument marshaled against anything -- health care coverage, the safety net, etc.

Note that the right not only vilifies Sandra Fluke and twists her words but sneers at Sister Simone Campbell's recounting of the people she's met and the challenges they are facing -- e.g., the young boys who were sole caregivers for their seriously ill mother.
