48. There were a number of new House members who had their own agenda, including preventing Nancy

from becoming the next House Speaker. I won't mention names, but thankfully many of them abandoned that idea when they saw it wasn't going to happen. But that doesn't mean they are now Nancy supporters. They didn't even go underground. They're just waiting for their next opportunity. Say what you will about the Repugnants, but when they WIN, everyone falls in line. How else would Mitch McConnell be able to get away with such bullshit as shutting down the entire government and doing Trump's bidding for him, while every member of the GOP falls in line.

Now I don't think that the Dems are or should be a bunch of lackies for their party leaders. But is it too much to ask that they stop shooting themselves in the foot when they win control of the House or the Senate.
