Because it is proven over and over that the Big Lie, perfected in Nazi Germany, actually does work. Years and years of bogus Clinton investigations, both Bill and Hillary, set the table for Hillary losing. None of those investigations costing millions of taxpayer money, and taking up hours and hours of government time, ever proved any serious wrong doing. But even with no actual fire, there was so much smoke created that many Americans were convinced that the Clintons were deviously criminal in some way.

So why not try it again? Not only keep the publics eyes from any Trump scandal, or from what the GOP are passing in the Senate, and keeping the MSM focused on another shiny bobble, keep their fickle attention until the next election, and keep Democrats on the defensive. It makes no difference if they eventually have a ruling in their favour, nor even if there is any conclusion found.

It is a gift in a way to the MSM news networks, especially Fox News of course. It gives them a way to start to even out the playing field, bring Trumps numbers up, or Democrats down. It doesn't matter as long as there is a horse race by November of 2020
