(13,409 posts)It says right there in the article that they're not saying that everyone should be going out and getting high and that more research needs to be done. That's NOT mixed results, that's the standard crap all scientific studies say when their results are controversial. And yes, I'm saying that inhaling marijuana smoke is good for one's lungs. That's because I put more stock in science than I do in any preconceived notions that I have. Also, I used to suffer from bronchitis every damned year of my life, without fail. Every year I'd suffer through a week of misery while I attempted to get better. Since discovering cannabis 12+ years ago, I haven't endured bronchitis once. Now when I feel that awkward tickle in my chest, I'll smoke a bowl and cough up some phlegm. That's because THC is a broncho dilator. The phlegm never has a chance to settle in my lungs and cause infection. Truly I can assure you that scientists know a great deal more about this stuff than you ever will.
