23. I once lived in a neighborhood very near area the reporter's location

Many of the homes in the area do have basements; despite that, I've always been terrified of something like this occurring. In addition to so much damage to the homes, it's such a shame that the mature landscaping and large shade trees were broken off short. So much work to do... Thank heaven there were no fatalities and timely warnings about the incoming storms. A friend toured and sent me a video of the destruction in the old stamping grounds. I can't imagine and am still in shock.
