Seriously?
Guess the Police Officer had to try to get rid of the witnesses. Too bad he didn't succeed.
I pray that the Mother recovers and the Father and his wife are able to tell what happened.
Of course, it won't matter if it was unprovoked and he shot them in cold blood. Nothing will happen.

Police are allowed to carry firearms at all times, on/off duty, in every state.
