Hunter tried to get his case thrown out or prosecutors tossed off because he claimed they were biased for attending a Hillary Clinton fundraiser.

The prosecution dropped a bombshell Monday: turns out Hunter's own lawyer was at that same fundraiser and gave Clinton $7,500!

The judge didn't buy the arguments Hunter's legal team was selling, and denied both motions, also refusing a third request to move the trial outside of San Diego County.

The noose is tightening for Hunter.
