young children and teens. They are punishing/ torturing children and to what purpose? What are the crimes these children perpetrated that has resulted in their incarceration and horrendous living conditions? This is not the United States I was raised in, and it is definitely not the country who gave me my moral compass. It is not the country that 4 generations of my family have fought to protect. It is unfathomable to me how we can allow these atrocities to continue to be done in our name. These actions are the actions of lawless, immoral people and "they" are apparently us. This has to stop! We need to concentrate all of our efforts on defeating the tRump administration and republicans in 2020. Only by their defeat can we begin to restore our country to it's political and moral leadership, and restore our national pride in the country we love.
