20. The spotlight is off

The biggest target for co-conspirator is Ghislaine Maxwell who hasn’t been charged and whose whereabouts aren’t known. We’ll see if anything comes of that.

I don’t see much more about the document dump. I flipped through some of it and saw Alan Dershowitz and Royal Palm Beach (mar a
Lago) in several places. Probably the most common location in the flight log.

Don’t trust that too much. I skimmed pretty quickly. Really just flipped to random places and skimmed quickly.

The discussion of the document dump would have gone on for days. Mar a lago, trump, but also many other rich and powerful people would have been in the news for months as the trial went on.

Epstein’s death was awfully convenient to people who didn’t want that spotlight regardless if he would have provided any more evidence.

Getting the document dump off the front page and not having a months long trial would have been very inconvenient to many people.

That’s really all I want to say, but since there is so much discussion on how he died I’ll give my half cent so it doesn’t look like I’m dodging.

There were plenty of people who wanted him gone including the guards who don’t like prisoners in general and despise child molesters. Providing him with means even by just taking him off suicide watch and then looking the other way would have been trivial. Killing him outright harder but I think still possible.

If I were a reporter or investigator I’d be pursuing that. Partly because that’s where my suspicions are, partly because the null hypothesis isn’t very interesting to pursue.

It was a race who got to him first. At a minimum I think he was assisted. I don’t believe he is alive. I don’t think anyone liked him that much and his living is too much a liability.
