2. I have donated to "renew membership"

yet months later they tell me to "renew membership".

I think there is a big disconnect in their financial/fund-raising operation that is perhaps sadly a generational one.

They recently started using ActBlue (which is how I was originally using to donate to candidates) but then using them to "renew membership" was still disconnected from whatever "records" they have.

I know that not everyone in the U.S. is on the internet - notably people who may be in rural areas and/or are stuck with dial-up with maybe some cell access. And I don't know if the printing and mailing of these pieces of paper (and I get dozens of "surveys" every month) are something being contracted to small businesses associated with the party to give them some work, thus the reason why they continue to do this. But the frequency needs to be cut in half, if not more, and then funnel that money onto those social media platforms or even TV and radio (Steyer shouldn't be the only one I see with ads from Democrats promoting policies).... And they can even funnel some to discussion forums like DU. I don't know how many posts I've seen from people here on DU complaining about all the RW ads and other nonsense that gets cycled through the ad server here.
