In reply to the discussion: Tulsi Gabbard on Trump impeachment: 'I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no' [View all]LisaM
(29,626 posts)50. She's not really a Democrat, in my book.
She has a "D" next to her name, but when she supported the wrongful hacking of the DNC's database in December 2015, to my mind, she chose to separate herself from the party. Nothing she's done since has changed my mind on that.

OP
If she thinks this bit of both-sideserism is going to get her a single Trumpista vote...

I think she's going for the VP position via the Nikki Haley route, as another pretty face.

Gabbard plans to be the third party spoiler. Her job is to help Trump be re-elected.

I agree! She is going to steal as many votes as she can to an Independent run

If anyone is THAT indecisive, then they do not qualify to be our party's nominee for POTUS.

My read as well. Just want her to resign her 174,000 job. At lease this lifts her 89% absent voting

If She Was Sincerely Voting Her Conscience, Then I Don't Have a Problem with This.

Suprised she was able to commit to voting"present". "Not present" might have been less risky......
