That's why Obama said we can't change Washington from the inside. Think about it. We put him there. Against all the odds. But he needs our help. The Republican congress did not do anything for the last two years. And we have seen the consequences of their agenda. The fiscal cliff. They still have not approved the Farm Aid bill. The Republican Senate voting down jobs for Veterans. A lot of good has come from the Obama Administration. More than the Bush years and certainly more than we could expect from Romney.
If we capture some seats in the house and senate this year, a strong message will be sent to the conservative party. Time to get to work. I am a liberal, but don't want to pass all liberal laws. We need a balance. The TRUE Republican party balances us out. That is what makes us Americans. But voting straight down party lines will be effective for two reasons. one is to root out the Tea Party. The started out a a real movement for change, but big money got involved with them. Not a real movement anymore. And I actually can't stand them. Two, we send a message to big money.
We are not as unaware as they think we are. We the people have so much technology at our disposal to inform each other. WE can fact check by ourselves. We can become so much more aware of what is going on in the world. Not only rely on one TV station or one new website. We can research information on our own. With this kind of power...INFORMATION. We can make better decisions. Please pay attention and spread the word. I don't know you and you don't know me. But I think as a whole must Americans have good values. We don't have to be best of friends, but believe me we all want the best for ourselves and others. I you took the time to read this. Thank you.
