21. That look of disappointment and confusion is common

in people who have been told that their delusions don't apply in the real world.

Pence had the same look as did Trump in the past. Both were talking to Europeans, both were using their propaganda lines and were expecting positive feedback from their audience. They got nothing instead.
Europeans are smart like that, they can tell what is real and what is propaganda.

Their carefully constructed but false value system crumbles, and reality slowly starts to creep in.

And it hurts!

Once you step outside Trump's BOD (bubble of delusion), the real world slaps you in the face and says . . . You are doing it wrong, stupid!

The border of that BOD is somewhere just outside the US border, it seems.

(But it shouldn't be news to any American who has paid any attention to media outside the US, surely? The 'no love for Trump and his cronies' isn't a secret.)
