Any compromise with them moves the center further to the right. But to not deal with them leaves us with a stalemate. So we're fucked no matter what.
We should have just run the GOP over when we had the majorities to do so and set the pendulum back in its proper place. But they went all scared and spineless when faced with the option to actually work for the people and not the overlords.
When you move rightward no matter which party is in control you have people talking about there not being much difference between the parties. And they're not entirely wrong.
