And did Slavitt or any of the other fear-mongers mention the fact that in American many, if not most, of the at risk population have had not 1, but 2 types of pneumonia vaccine within the last several years? It's something that was asked of my parents every time I took them for a regular check up. If they weren't up to date, they got one or both if needed. The virus causing pneumonia is what's deadly about it. Maybe more people are protected from adverse outcomes than anyone realizes?

Maybe you should have caught MSNBC's interview with Seattle's mayor. She was quite calm and rational and her city is in the middle of it.

Since in the US, we have precious little data on which to draw conclusions, it is simply irresponsible to make or cite projections that are based on some set of assumptions that may/may not be true, may/may not apply or both.
